How to Become a Contest Director

The following are the steps required to become a AMA certified Contest Director

1. Download and print the AMA General Information document and Safety Code and Sanction Form for the current year.  These references are needed to pass the test on the application.

2.  Download and fill out the Application for Contest Director.

• Read all information on the form, then fill it out completely and accurately
• Take the brief Test using the General Information Document and any other references you need in order to complete the Test.  
• Get the endorsement of 3 Open AMA Members
• The contest Coordinator for Our District is:

• Submit the application form with the appropriate fee to the AMA at the address listed on the form

3. Upon receiving your Certificate,  usually within a month,  contact the President by Email and have your status upgraded on the website.

Thats all there is to it.   But it surely will help the club to have as many CD's as possible,   and we appreciate the effort put forth to fulfill this position.
