Petition to Save the RAMS Flying Park

The Radio Aeromodelers of Seattle are in imminent danger of losing the rights to fly on the property located on the West Valley Highway in Sumner after nearly 18 years. 

We are in the process of seeking options, either staying where we are, or obtaining another flying site.  To this end, we will need to prove that we are more than just a bunch of "old men with expensive toys".  To this end, we are seeking input, through the form of a petition, to indicate that our club is actually an asset to the comunity.

If you have had good experiences with the RAMS,  and their flying field,  we would appreciate your adding your name to our petition.  This petition will be included in any negotiations as we pursue our endeavors to continue having a viable flying venue in the Southern Puget Sound Area, and closer to the Seattle and Tacoma Metropolitan areas.

The actual petition will read as follows:

We the undersigned are interested in the Radio Aeromodelers of Seattle either retaining their Flying Park on the West Valley Highway in Sumner Washington, or as an alternative, move to a new flying site in close proximity to the present site.

I have found attendance at their various events and observing their activities a very enjoyable experience.
